The Northwest River Park & Campground, for instance, features 66 campsites and two rental cabins. Situated far southeast in a lush preserve near the North Carolina state line, this campground features plenty of fun outdoor activities, like boating and fishing, to kick off your wedding day festivities.

Near the Great Dismal Swamp is the Chesapeake Campground. Featuring more than 100 camping sites, the campgrounds also feature space for RVs and motorhomes, including amenities, like swimming pools and a mini-golf course. Also, on the grounds is the Plantation House.
